After carefully reviewing FDA records, CPG Health concludes that the Rexall One Step Pregnancy Test has a sensitivity of 25 mIU/ml.
NOTE: The records associated with the Rexall product are very old. The test has been available for sale in its present form, under many brands, since at least 1991.
We have contacted the Specification Developer of the Rexall Pregnancy Test (SPD Diagnostics). They report that the clinical / analytical HCG sensitivity of the Rexall One Step Pregnancy Test is 25 mIU/mL. The Cut Off sensitivity of the product remains unknown.
How does pregnancy test sensitivity affect testing early?
You can use your Rexall Pregnancy Test to test early for pregnancy. However, when you test early, you sacrifice accuracy. So, even if you test four days early, repeat the test with a new unit on the day of your missed period.
