Don’t look now, but your pregnancy test is changing. For the first time, women will have the option to “ditch the stick” and use a convenient, flexible test that they can flush after use.
Lia, a startup company, has developed a new test made from biodegradable paper that will soon replace the traditional plastic-based tests. As a result, women can test for pregnancy without damaging the environment. Also, they can achieve a higher level of privacy, by flushing their pregnancy test rather than placing it in a recycle bin.
