Family Wellness Early Result Pregnancy Test Sensitivity
With a sensitivity rating of 10 mIU/ml, the Family Wellness Pregnancy Test gives you a chance to test before your missed period.
In fact, if you’re pregnant, you have a 68% chance of receiving an accurate positive test result five days before your expected period and six days before the first day of your missed period.
Many available OTC pregnancy tests have a sensitivity of 25 mIU/ml, making them accurate only on the day of your missed period.
How does sensitivity affect my Midwood Brands, LLC, Family Wellness Early Result Pregnancy Test results?
The Family Wellness Pregnancy Test can detect lower levels of the hCG pregnancy hormone. Women whose body normally has a top level of hCG may receive a false positive result.
By testing early, you compromise the accuracy of your results. In fact, the Family Wellness test doesn’t provide high certainty until three days before your missed period. Your result is 98% accurate.

The chart reflects laboratory data from 65 women who proved to be pregnant. The accuracy of their test results improved as they approached their expected menstrual period (EMP).
NOTE: FDA rules require that a pregnancy test be at least 50% accurate in order for a manufacture to make a claim. For example, the Family Wellness test has a 68% accuracy rate on EMP-5, so the test can legitimately claim that you can test six days early.
However, the Family Wellness Test can’t claim that you can test seven days early. On that day, EMP-6, the test has an accuracy below 50%.
